CLI esbuild

Vendored esbuild compiles TypeScript scripts to JavaScript files used inside WebView for Android and iOS.

The bundler.xcode and bundler.android tasks use the Bundler tool internally. The bundler task handles all file operations cross-platform.

Tasks

From the repository root:

  • task esbuild.install (esi): re-download the vendored esbuild binary.

Bundle flags

  • --bundle — resolves imports and produces a single output file.

  • --target=safari11 — output compatible with Safari 11+ (WKWebView).

  • --analyze — prints a bundle size breakdown.

  • --tsconfig — uses lib/common/config/bundler.json for module resolution.
